The Department of Carpentry and Plumbing at the Seychelles Institute of Technology (SIT) is dedicated to providing high-quality education and practical training in the essential trades of carpentry, joinery, and plumbing. 2. Advanced Certificate in Plumbing

Duration: 2 years (4 semesters) Full Time / 3 years (6 semesters) Part Time

Credits: 240-320

This program provides comprehensive training in plumbing systems, covering essential aspects such as installation, maintenance, and repair. It serves as a solid foundation for students aiming to pursue higher education or enter the workforce as skilled plumbing professionals.


3. Certificate in Carpentry and Joinery (Apprenticeship)

Duration: 1 year (2 semesters) Full Time / 2 years (4 semesters) Part Time

Credits: 120

This entry-level program combines practical training with foundational knowledge in carpentry and joinery. It prepares students for a wide range of roles within the carpentry sector, offering essential skills in woodwork and construction techniques.


4. Certificate in Plumbing (Apprenticeship)

Duration: 1 year (2 semesters) Full Time / 2 years (4 semesters) Part Time

Credits: 120

This program offers an entry-level introduction to the plumbing trade, providing students with the practical skills and basic knowledge needed to succeed in the plumbing industry. It focuses on the fundamental aspects of plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair.
